Minimally Invasive Spine Surgeon Dr. Phillip Kravetz is a fellowship-trained spinal surgeon in practice since 2001. His education and training include a degree in Biochemistry, a Fellowship at Harvard Medical School and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Molecular Pharmacology, and a Spine Fellowship at Baylor Medical School in Houston, Texas.

More than just a back doctor, Dr. Phillip Kravetz has been one of the earliest adaptors of minimally invasive spinal techniques. He performed his first minimally invasive surgery in 2001 in the Dallas area and is one of the few surgeons who perform minimally invasive scoliosis surgery. Not only does he have a passion for providing the best results for his patients, he is a constant educator. Because of his expertise, he has been an invited speaker and teacher all over the world, lecturing in the United States, Asia, Africa, Europe and South America. He has taught hundreds of other Spine Surgeons the newest techniques that he practices right here in the Dallas area. Dr. Phillip Kravetz regularly provides guidance to the health care industry to advance the future of spine care and the development of newer techniques and devices.

Patient care has always been the top priority for Dr. Kravetz and is reflected in the time he takes with his patients in the clinic setting. For patients to make the difficult decisions about their health, proper education is important. Using imaging studies, drawing and models, Dr. Phillip Kravetz is able to help patients best understand their problems and their treatment options. And while spinal surgery is his specialty, he is an expert at all aspects of spinal care, including the non-operative therapies.
